Educational stock and formation
See how much formal education Bulgarian cohorts carry, what the education system is producing, and how that composition moves with the population through 2031, 2036 and 2046.
What formal formation do Bulgarian cohorts carry?
Observed stock is the official annual estimate for people in private households. Future years are a separate StrategicBase composition view over Eurostat's direct official demographic baseline.

Enrolment → entrants → graduates
Direct official counts retain their published ISCED levels. Columns are not forced into a synthetic flow balance: an enrollee, new entrant and graduate are different source objects.

Accounting boundary
Explicit upgrade and education-specific migration matrices are not published in the selected sources. v0.1 therefore exposes observed stages and a bounded composition view; it does not pretend that stage totals form an individual-level transition ledger.
Are younger cohorts replacing older educational stock?
The transparent stock ratio compares ages 20–29 with ages 60–69 at the selected level. One means equal stock; below one means the younger stock is smaller.
What are tertiary graduates formed in?
Broad ISCED-F fields for 2024 tertiary graduates. Field is optional by contract and never propagated into the resident stock heatmap.
Move population and education stock through time together
The year control above carries observed attainment profiles with cohorts, supplies younger cohorts through a stationary current-formation boundary, and applies them to the direct Official baseline demographic envelope. It is deliberately bounded at 2046.
StrategicBase model This is not an official education forecast. Official baseline population cells remain direct Eurostat results; the Education transformation is StrategicBase-owned and fully separated in the release.
